Our Part 141 accelerated Instrument course (IFR - Instrument Flight Rules) is designed to get you flying quickly and efficiently. This intensive 4-week program provides all the necessary training and endorsements to prepare you for your Instrument checkride. Upon completion, you'll have the advanced skills and knowledge to navigate and fly a single-engine aircraft solely by instruments, even in challenging weather conditions. Whether you're aiming to enhance your aviation career or deepen your flying expertise, our expert instructors and top-notch facilities will guide you every step of the way. Elevate your piloting abilities and expand your horizons with our comprehensive Instrument course.
Part 141 Course Investment: $16,000
- Up to 24 hours of flight training
- Up to 14 hours of simulator training
- Up to 60 hours of one-on-one instruction
- King Schools Online Ground Training provided
Instrument Course Admissions Prerequisites
- Have a Private Pilot License (PSEL)
- 18 Years of Age
- High School Diploma or GED (College experience preferred)
- Two-Character References (One professional and one personal)
- Good Driving Record
- Pass a Criminal Background Check
- Pass a Behavioral/Cognitive Assessment
- Pass a Flight Assessment (Assessment can be waived based on prior certificates)
- Complete the IRA Written Exam
- Obtain at least an FAA Third Class Medical Certificate
- No Prior Aviation Incidents or Accidents or other FAA Enforcement Actions
- Proficient in the English Language
- Height and Weight Limits (Due to aircraft operational limitations, students taller than 6’3’’ or weighing more than 250 lbs. may be unable to train in our aircraft)
- Must be of Good Moral Character, Must be Driven, Strong Work Ethic, Etc.
